In this notice we explain how we process, store and use any personal information that you provide through our website.
There are a number of forms on the website which you may need to complete. In all cases, we ask you to download the forms, fill them in and send them to us in the post.
Unless you choose to contact us by e-mail, we have no electronic record of your address.
We may use the personal information that you do send us (name, address, age, telephone number, e-mail address) to help promote the Society, but only if you specifically agree to this.
We will not sell the information to third parties.
List of award-winners
We plan to include a list of award-winners on our website. This will take the form of:
Name/County/Award/Incident/Date of Award
We will ask award-winners and/or their nominators for authorisation to do this.
Storage of Information
For our own records we will keep the personal data that you send us in the forms in a computer database.
We may contact you to ask you to help us promote the Society (by giving a quote for a newspaper article, for instance) or to invite you to make a donation. There will be no obligation on you to do either.
Notification of changes
As we develop our website, we may need to update our privacy statement. This will be clearly indicated on our home page and at the start of the privacy statement.
Should you have any questions about this statement, please contact us at the address given at the top of this page.
