Silver Medal

Silver Medal The Silver Medal is the Society's oldest award, going back to 1775.

It's given to people who've carried out a particularly long rescue or who've repeatedly returned to a highly dangerous situation to try to rescue someone.

In 2003, there was just 1 winner.
